COURSE: ROMANIAN FOR FOREIGNERS

COURS DE LANGUE ROUMAINE POUR LES ÉTRANGERS
CURS DE LIMBA ROMÂNĂ PENTRU STRĂINI – NIVEL ÎNCEPĂTORI

The teaching program include:
1) The alphabet – phonetics – phonology
Noun – gender and number; phonetic alternations;
The article;
The verbs “to be”, “to have”, “to want”, “to wish”;
2) Interrogative pronouns and adjectives: who? what? how many?
Numeral 1-100, text, lexicon, group I verbs: “to buy, to wait, to work, to study”;
Personal pronouns of politeness;
Pronouns and demonstrative adjectives (this, these, that, those…);
3) The indefinite pronoun and the adjective;
The adjective with four forms, with three forms, with two forms, with a single form;
Verbs. The verbs of group II and III.
4) The adverb and specific adverbial forms;
“yes, of course, certainly, indeed” ;
Prepositions: „in – from, to – from, on – from, through, from”… Exercises. Random text.
5) Pronoun and indefinite adjective: “so much, so many, a few”;
Adverbs;
“more, very, and”;
Copulative conjunctions “and, neither, again”;
Exercises, text. Discussions on the text read.
6) Verbs: “to take, to give, to bring, to carry, to say, to be able”; the three forms of the future;
Prepositions “with, without”;
Disjunctive conjunctions “or”.
7) Degrees of comparison. The absolute superlative. Pronominal verbs.
8) Cases of nouns. Examples, exercises.
Metropolitan Centre for Education and Culture „Ioan I. Dalles” is organizing courses for foreigners or expats eager to learn Romanian language. The lessons will be held in English language with an experienced teacher.
